Burns Bog is Burning

You heard it here first -- beautiful, unique Burns Bog is on fire tonight.

It's a truly sad sight, and I worry about the long term effects of such a massive blaze. I've taken a night shot of the blaze from Boundary Bay on the east side of Tsawwassen, which I will post soon (just waiting for my camera battery to charge before starting the whole upload process).

Haven't seen anything on the news yet, but I'll be keeping close tabs on it in the hours and days to come...
